In the context of the ENTER Mental Health Conference "Deinstitutionalization... that word!", M. Faustini and T. P. Marques will present a communication on the strengths and limitations of arts-based methodologies in the mental health field, specifically in the case of poetry. In order to do so, Mad/Disability Literature will be discussed alongside the application of poetry in qualitative inquiry, converging the deterritorializing dimension included both in experimental writing and in collaborative research with users into the social space of the creative writing workshops established in clinical settings.
